Bronx-based New York Ancients Fife and Drum Band, led by Teresa Peragrini, who
maintained a marvelous marching consistency along the green painted line in the middle
of the avenue.
The band members hardly took a breath as they belted out everything from Dixie to
Roddy McCorley and Battle Cry of Freedom".
